Namco held its shareholders meeting this past Saturday June 25, 2005 to decided if Namco and Bandai would merge to create Bandai Namco Holdings as announced in May. 2,000 investors attended the meeting and no objections were raised when the proposal was suggested by the board executives, led by company founder Masaya Nakamura. This confirms the merger as Bandai officials already agreed to it in a meeting on June 23, 2005.
