Wondering who else will join Mortal Kombat 11 and when? Well, NetherRealm revealed everything. Though, the announcement didn’t go exactly as planned. Still, we now know that the game’s Kombat Pack, which already included Shang Tsung and Nightwolf, will also add Joker, Sindel, Spawn, and Terminator T-800. While Shang Tsung and Nightwolf are available now, we’ll have to wait until October 8, 2019 for the next one.
The early access dates for the characters were revealed. Terminator T-800 will be the next character to join Mortal Kombat 11. He will show up on October 8, 2019. Then, on November 26, 2019, Sindel will become a part of the cast. After that, there is a bit of a delay between new additions. Joker won’t show up until January 28, 2020. Finally, this Kombat Pack will conclude with Spawn on March 17, 2020.
As mentioned earlier, this reveal didn’t go exactly as planned for NetherRealm. The developer initially had a YouTube countdown video online. Except, the thumbnail for it actually showed all of the characters and their launch dates. Which pretty much defeated the purpose. Shortly after, the full announcement appeared online. Which really only made sense after that initial leak.
This reveal means the initial Mortal Kombat 11 datamining was accurate. It suggested Joker, Spawn, and the Terminator would appear. Another leak shortly after pretty much confirmed Terminator T-800. Evil Dead’s Ash was also a part of that leak, but hasn’t appeared yet. (Though, CheatCC’s April Fools’ 2019 joke also joked about the Batman villain possibly being added.)
