New Map and Ships Coming to Star Wars: Squadrons

A new update is coming out for Star Wars: Squadrons. In addition to some balance updates and fine tuning, the developers will be adding a new map. This is according to EA’s official website.

The new map is called Fostar Haven and is originally from the game’s single-player story. This 3.0 update will be making it available for Fleet Battles and Dogfight mode.

In terms of components, Fighters and Bombers are receiving the Boost Extension Kit. They will also receive Prototype Piercing Torpedoes. Interceptors and Fighters are receiving Ion Rockets. Lastly, U-wings and TIE reapers are getting a component called the Anti-Material Rocket Turret.

The update releases on November 25. Additionally, two new ships will be added as part of the subsequent December update.

Glitches Turn Spider-Man into Strange Objects

The new game, Spider-Man: Miles Morales looks beautiful on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 but glitches have been causing the protagonist to turn into strange objects like dumpsters and lamps.

The reason for the glitch isn’t yet known but the array of things that Spider-Man can turn into is substantial. In addition to the aforementioned items, Spider-Man will occasionally turn into bricks, piles of snow, and carboard boxes. These are just some of the many examples.

The glitches appear to be cosmetic and don’t seem to break the game. Spider-Man: Miles Morales is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Kingdom Hearts Creator Thinking about New Story

On the heels of the release of Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, which summarized the franchise so far before adding a bit to the overall canon, series creator, Tetsuya Nomura has begun talking about what he’s planning next. One of the things he’s thinking about doing is dramatically changing the Kingdom Hearts universe.

This is according to an interview he gave with Dengeki Online, which was later translated by Gematsu. Nomura gave the answer in response to a question about series loose ends, saying, “I intend to tie up remaining loose story ends but also want to change the format a bit. I want to drastically change the world and tell a new story, but also tie up loose ends"

One of the most common observations about the franchise is that a lot happens and it is sometimes hard to follow. The newest game is a useful way to revisit the series, but it might even lead to more questions as far as what comes next.
