Valve Rolls Out the Team Fortress 2 Two Cities Update

Valve Rolls Out the Team Fortress 2 Two Cities Update

Yes, believe it or not, Team Fortress 2 is STILL UPDATING! The latest update, the Two Cities Update, is bringing the TF2 crowd to some of the world’s most well-known cities. The first is Manhattan, smack dab in New York, which has been remade into a Mann vs. Machine map . The map features moving robot spawn points and robots that can introduce new bombs onto the map,

The update also introduces new “killstreak kits” that you get by completing tours of duty in the Two Cities update. Killstreak kits allow you to apply new effects to your weapons and character. Ever wanted your character’s eyes to be on fire? Now you can! Just… be careful if you are playing the Demoman. Completing tours of duty also gives you a chance to gain a super rare weapon.

The final part of day one of the Two Cities TF2 update is “Snakewater,” a control-point map made by community author Tovio Sawen. The map has now become an official part of TF2, with Valve support and everything. Note, “Snakewater” isn’t the second city they are talking about, just a cool little bonus map. We are betting city number two is Chicago.
