Watch_Dogs PC Requirements Released

Watch_Dogs has appeared on Steam’s North America region as available for pre-purchase, and there are two versions of Ubisoft’s open world game listed on the title’s Store page: the standard edition and the digital deluxe edition. However, trying to access the page in another region comes up with the following message: “ An error was encountered while processing your request: This item is currently unavailable in your region. ”

As reported by VG24/7 , there is only a $10 difference between the two versions, and the Store page also lists the games minimum and recommended requirements for PC. Both requirements have been listed below.

// Minimum:

  • OS: Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1) or Windows 8 (Please note that we only support 64 bit OSs.);

  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2.66Ghz or AMD Phenom II X4 940 @ 3.0Ghz;

  • Memory: 6 GB RAM;

  • Graphics: DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM – Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD 5770;

  • DirectX: Version 11;

  • Hard Drive: 25 GB available space;

  • Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible Sound Card with Latest Drivers;

  • Additional Notes: Broadband connection and service required for multiplayer mode. Supported Video Cards at Time of Release: nVidia GeForce GTX460 or better, GT500, GT600, GT700 series; AMD Radeon HD5850 or better, HD6000, HD7000, R7 and R9 series Intel Iris Pro HD 5200.

According to Watch_Dogs’ creative director Jonathan Morin, Watch_Dogs will have a 35- to 40-hour long story mode if players do a little roaming on the side, but completionists can look forward to around 100 hours of content. There is also no planned demo for the title.

Watch_Dogs will be dropping on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on May 27, a release date that was finally announced after several delays. A Wii U version may still receive a 2014 release .
