The Last of Us: Grounded Bundle DLC Details Revealed

The Last of Us: Grounded Bundle DLC Details Revealed

Naughty Dog’s community strategist Eric Monacelli announced the third and last DLC for its hit PlayStation 3 title The Last of Us , titled “Grounded Bundle”.

In a post published over on PlayStation.Blog , the Ground Bundle is a mix of both singleplayer and multiplayer content, Monacelli detailed. Touted to be the hardest challenge for you to try to complete in The Last of Us’ singleplayer campaign, the game’s AI will now be more relentless, smart and brutal; “ survival will be near impossible, ” is how Monacelli describes it. What’s more, the “Completed Grounded Mode” trophy is touted to be one of the most difficult trophies for you to ever earn.

As for the game’s multiplayer, Grounded Bundle will be adding new guns and survival skills, which will also be available for you to try before you buy as part of a new preset loadout system. What’s more, Naughty Dog will be streaming Grounded Bundle’s content live at 8pm BST on Friday, April 18 via its Twitch channel.

Grounded Bundle is available at no extra cost to those who already have a Season Pass for The Last of US . Monacelli advises that, should you want Grounded Bundle as well as all of the game’s other DLCs, you should purchase a Season Pass soon, as it will only be available for four more weeks until May 13. Doing so will save you over 80 percent compared to buying all the DLCs individually.

It was first revealed that Naughty Dogs’ The Last of Us would be releasing on Sony’s PlayStation 4 console on a NeoGAF post near the end of last month, stating the title would be launching this summer.

It was later confirmed by Naughty Dog that The Last of Us would indeed be releasing on the PlayStation 4 during the summer, but no release date information was given at the time. However, it’s been reported that a few online retailers have listed The Last of Us Remastered for a June 20 release. There is also a full videogame adaptation movie of The Last of Us in the works.
